The Georgia Chapter of the
International Harvester Collectors Club was formed to promote the
preservation of historic tractors and equipment, particularly that made by
the International Harvester Company. Our club is affiliated with the
National IH Collectors club, which has chapters all across the globe.
This organization each year hosts the Red Power Round Up, one of the
nation's top antique tractor events. You don't have to own IH products to
join. We welcome owners of any brand of equipment, or none, as long as you
share our love of old iron. Since IH also made trucks, industrial equipment,
and other items for use around the home and farm, this club will be for
people who own everything from IH Scouts to IH cream separator and
refrigerators. The involvement of each member's entire family will be one of
our main goals. We want all our events to be fun and memorable. At this
time, we plan four meetings a year. Each will be an event for the whole
family. There is also a printed newsletter available for those who do not
have access to the web. Help us spread the word to potential members.
Encourage them to visit our web site and look at club information for more
details. |
